Ukrzaliznytsya to buy 1.6 ths freight railcars in 2011

Ukraine’s state railway monopoly Ukrzaliznytsya plans to buy 1.1 ths gondola cars and 0.5 ths tank cars in 2011, Interfax reported on Friday. Vitaly Gorovoy: This order is tiny relative to Ukrzaliznytsya’s estimated need of 34.5 ths gondola cars in 2011-2015, and domestic manufacturers’ annual production volumes. Thus, we expect Kryukiv Wagon (UX: KVBZ UK) to receive the order for gondola cars and Azovzahalmash (UX: AZGM UK) – for tank cars, but see little material impact on share prices.
