UX launches derivatives trading

The Ukrainian Exchange launched a derivatives trading section yesterday, it said in a press release. A cash-settled futures contract was the first instrument launched on the UX’s derivatives market. The UX said 24 companies have been admitted to trading on its derivatives market. The UX’s derivatives market operates on the basis of the RTS trading platform, collateral system and central counterparty technology that has been used in Russia for years.
