VAB Bank increases charter fund by 38%

VAB Bank President Sergey Maksimov told Interfax yesterday that VAB boosted its charter fund by 38.2% to UAH 542.6 mln. The equity injection was approved at a shareholder meeting on November 28. Maksimov said this year VAB raised its regulatory capital by more than UAH 500 mln to UAH 1.2 bln, including UAH 201.2 mln added to its charter fund. VAB Bank was ranked Ukraine’s #27 largest lender by assets by the National Bank of Ukraine, according to stats as of October 1.
