Velyka Kesheniya To Hold IPO In 2Q08

Roman Luny, the Head of the Advisory Board for Retail Group, the holding company for one of Ukraine’s largest supermarket chains Velyka Kesheniya, said yesterday that the group plans to hold an IPO in 2Q08 following the completion of the group’s international audit. According to Luny, by waiting to complete the audit the group will have more choice over what international exchange to list on. Earlier Retail Group announced plans to hold an IPO on AIM in London in 2008. Velyka Kesheniya has over 34 supermarkets in 14 Ukrainian cities with a total of 90 ths cm of retail space.
