Velyka Kyshenya Plans to Increase Turnover 38% in 2007

Velyka Kyshenya intends to boost turnover 38% yoy to USD 557 mln in 2007, according to Roman Lunin, CEO of Velyka Kyshenya’s operator, Retail Group (RTGR: N/R). The supermarket chain recently rolled out its own private label, which it intends to account for 3-5% of total goods turnover this year (7-10% in 2008). Velyka Kyshenya has 42 supermarkets throughout Ukraine and 16 in Kyiv, which account for 60% of the chain’s sales.
