World Bank mulls USD 300-400 mln loan to Ukraine

The World Bank could grant Ukraine a USD 300-400 mln loan, a representative from the World Bank’s Kyiv Office said yesterday. If approved, it will be the third loan granted as part of the Strategy of Partnership program between Ukraine and the World Bank. The first was a USD 250 mln loan in July 2005; the second for USD 300 mln at the beginning of 2008.
