Yushchenko Meets With Tycoons.

On Friday President Viktor Yushchenko met with the country’s top business leaders including, Rinat Akhmetov and Viktor Pinchuk. The president called on the businessmen to bring their companies out of the shadows and give up the business practices that have put them at odds with the government in the past. Yushchenko said it was time that they work together to improve Ukraine’s business climate.  Several leading industrialists present at the meeting asked the president to make changes to the anti-monopoly committee, further develop the stock market and improve communication between big business and the government.
