Yuzhkabel Increases Output By 39% To USD 53.7mn in 2004

The company’s sales grew 48% to USD 57.3mn. Last December, the enterprise launched a workshop to produce fiber-optic cables with a capacity of 8 ths km of cable per year. Concorde Capital: The cable industry is growing due to increasing construction volumes and a growing number of telephone lines. Earlier, Odeskabel, Ukraine’s largest producer of telephone and fiber-optic cables, reported a 69.7% increase of output of fiber-optic cables. Because of growing demand, the enterprise purchased new equipment to increase capacity by 10% last year.
