Zaliv ends 2008 with UAH 87.7 mln net loss

Zaliv Shipyard (SZLV) said yesterday in a filing that it posted a UAH 87.7 mln net loss in 2008, after net income of UAH 3.8 mln in 2007. As of the end of 2008, Zaliv’s assets amounted to UAH 1.2 bln, and debt to UAH 951.6 mln. Zaliv is the leading producer of large capacity vessels in Ukraine; it is controlled by Konstantin Zhevago’s Finance & Credit group.
