Zaporizhya Ferroalloy to launch 10 smelting furnaces by 2009

Zaporizhya Ferroalloy (ZFER) plans to bring onstream 10 smelting furnaces by 2009, the company said in a press release yesterday. The plant is targeting the production of 6,818 mt of ferroalloy in December, 17% of its normal monthly capacity.
