Zelensky to head delegation to the UK in October

18 October 2021

President Volodymyr Zelensky will lead a delegation to
the United Kingdom by the end of October, Ukraine’s ambassador to the UK, Vadym
Prystaiko told a government-owned TV channel on Oct. 15. The visit will cover a
range of topics, in particular on enlarging bilateral military and trade ties.

James Hydzik: Increasing British-Ukrainian trade will probably also include talks,
at least, regarding easier access for Ukrainian workers or specialists.
Ukrainians have made up the largest number of foreign work-based residents in
the EU in 2021 and for the UK government represent a population ready to come
in and work but without the acrimony associated with Brexit. For
English-speaking IT and finance industry talent, doors might open.
