EU Stops Investigation on Silicomanganese Imports from Ukraine

According to the Minister of Economy Anatoliy Kinakh, the European Union has stopped an antidumping investigation into silicomanganese imports from Ukraine. The investigation was launched in 2006 at the request of the Association of European Manufacturers of Ferroalloys (Euroalliages). There are three silicomanganese producers in Ukraine – Nikopol Ferroalloy (NFER: N/R), Stakhaniv Ferroalloy (SFER: N/R) and Zaporizhya Ferroalloy (ZFER: N/R). Annual exports of silicomanganese from Ukraine are estimated at 200 ths mt.
