In monetary terms export revenues from ammonium nitrate grew by 18.1% to USD 9.5 mln, while those from urea decreased by 43% to USD 29.0 mln. According to earlier reports, ammonia exports also declined in September ? by 31.6% to 122.2 ths mt (export revenues decreased by 35.2% to USD 27.4 mln). Concorde Capital: While ammonia prices were on the rise, reaching USD 291 on average in September 2005 at Yuzhny port from USD 241 a year ago, urea prices dropped to USD 210 (compared to USD 223 in September last year). The decrease in exports of urea is connected to the mom decline in world prices, which made producers accumulate larger inventories (expecting prices to rise), and also to the yoy decrease in production due to intensive repairs of aggregates many producers have undertaken this year.
