External trade in goods hits USD 1.4 bln deficit in 3M09

The State Statistics Committee reported yesterday that in 3M09 the external trade deficit in goods hit a USD 1.4 bln deficit. The export of goods came to USD 8.3 bln (down 39.6% yoy) vs. imports of USD 9.8 bln (down 48.1% yoy).
