Ferrexpo boosts net income 2.1x y-o-y in 1H11

Ferrexpo (LSE: FXPO LN) reported net income of USD 293.3 mln in 1H11 (up 2.1x y-o-y), the company said in a press release this week. Revenues increased to USD 854 mln (up 62.6% y-o-y) during the period. In 1H11, pellet production declined to 4,394 ths mt (down 1.1% y-o-y), and concentrate production increased to 5,574 ths mt (up 1.2% y-o-y).
