Fozzy Group's turnover up 29% yoy in 2008

Ukrainian retailer Fozzy Group said yesterday that its retail trade turnover last year increased 28.7% yoy to UAH 10.2 bln. Fozzy Group operates Silpo supermarkets, Fora and Bumi discount markets, and Fozzy C&C hypermarkets. In 2008, Fozzy Group said it opened 12 new Silpo supermarkets and 16 Fora stores. Fozzy said it plans to release detailed financial results for the group in March.
