Fuel & Energy Ministry Asks NERC to Consider Raising Wages at Oblenergos

Following a meeting chaired my Minister Yury Boyko, the Fuel & Energy Ministry asked the National Electricity Regulation Commission to come up with proposals on the feasibility of gradually raising wages at oblenergos and regional gas distribution companies. The NERC plans to unveil its proposals on Thursday. Alexander Paraschiy: This is positive news for gas and electricity distribution companies. Previously, they had no resources to gradually increase wages and had to cut other costs in order to raise additional money for wages.
