FUIB seeks to restructure USD 275 Eurobonds

15 May 2009

First Ukrainian International Bank has sent a letter to holders of its USD 275 mln Eurobonds to request their assent to a four month period in which the bank will prepare a proposal to restructure its debt under the bonds. The bank noted that the country’s economic situation and liquidity position would make it difficult to meet its USD 450 mln in debt obligations this year.
