Galnaftogaz Named Top Company In Terms Of Openness With Information

At its conference last week, C-Bonds, the CIS’s leading fixed income information agency named Galnaftogaz (GLNG: HOLD) Ukraine’s top company in terms of openness with information. Mironovsky Khliboprodukt took the number two spot, followed by Khlibprom (HLPR). Nick Piazza:  It’s no surprise that two companies connected to Universalna Group got top spots in these awards, in our corporate governance report from February 6, 2006, Galnaftogaz received our top ranking and though Khlibprom was not included in our listing, another Universalna Group related company, Universalna Insurance (SKUN), received an above average rating and Ukraine’s insurance sector is the standard barer in terms of corporate governance.
