IMF approves allocation of USD 1.5 bln loan tranche to Ukraine

The International Monetary Fund will give Ukraine a USD 1.5 bln tranche of its USD 15.3 bln standby loan program, following approval by the IMF board yesterday. According to the IMF, the decision provides for immediate disbursal of the tranche. Full allocation would bring total disbursements under the program to USD 3.4 bln.
