IMF Improves GDP Forecast For Ukraine.

The International Monetary Fund improved its Ukrainian GDP forecast for 2006 from 5% to 5.4%. The IMF?s estimates for GDP growth in 2005 remained unchanged at 5.5%. Concorde Capital: It seems the IMF is more optimistic than the government. In September the government, for the third time this year, lowered its GDP forecast to 4.0%. We are going to review our current GDP estimate (6%) and downgrade it closer to 5.0%.
