The mission of the International Monetary Fund will visit Ukraine from July 21 to August 2 for meetings with the authorities. Albert Jaeger, the director of the European department of the IMF, will head the mission. The mission experts plan to collect economic and financial information, and to discuss issues of economic development with Ukrainian officials. Concorde Capital: The last time the IMF mission came to Ukraine in Febuary, 2005, they discussed amendments to the budget with Ukrainian officials. This time the privatization process, the slow down in economy and issues connected to improving the investment climate will be most likely on the agenda.
