Industrial output growth up 8.8% yoy in 2M10

Ukraine’s industrial production grew 8.8% yoy in 2M10, vs. a decline of 32.6% yoy in 2M09, the State Statistics Committee reported yesterday. In monthly terms, industrial output growth slowed in February to 5.6% yoy, vs. 11.8% yoy in January, and was down 0.7% mom.  We maintain our forecast of industrial production and GDP growth of 6.8% and 4% in 2010 respectively.
