Industrial production growth accelerates to 13.8% in March

Ukraine’s industrial production growth accelerated to 13.8% yoy in March, from 5.6% yoy in February and 11.8% yoy in January, the State Statistics Committee reported yesterday. In month-on-month terms, industrial production was up 16.2% mom in March. Mykyta Mykhaylychenko: After being flat in February (+3% yoy), metallurgy added 25.8% yoy growth in real terms in March. In 1Q10, industrial production rose 10.8% yoy, incl. metallurgy +18.4% yoy.
