Pipe production at Ukraine’s largest producer
Interpipe (INPIP) was 2.14 kt per day (or 66.2 kt per month) in January, a
11.4% m/m increase, according to Concorde Capital’s analysis of a Feb. 20 news
report by Interfax-Ukraine.
Interpipe NTRP pipe production slid 3.3% m/m to 0.75
kt per day in January. Interpipe NMPP output jumped 74.0% m/m to 0.28 kt per
day. Interpipe Niko Tube output rose 12.9% m/m to 1.10 kt per day.
In a separate news report, Interfax-Ukraine said that
Interpipe Steel’s output of crude steel was 2.29 kt per day in January, a 13.4%
m/m decrease.
Dmytro Khoroshun: We tentatively expect the 2019 pipe production volume at Interpipe to
drop 7% yoy to 700 kt, or 1.92 kt per day.
