Iron Ore Exports Up 2.6% yoy In Jan-May 2006

Over the last five months, Ukraine exported 7.78 mln mt of iron ore, primarily to Eastern Europe and China. Andriy Gostik: These figures imply a sharp improvement in April-May, as iron ore exports were down by 4.9% in 1Q06. It appears ore consumers have given up hope that prices will come down and are now filling their depleted stocks.
