JKX Oil & Gas (LSE: JKX LN) increased its production 15% yoy in 1Q10 to 11,384 boepd, according to an interim management statement released yesterday. The company’s gas production rose 14% yoy during the period to 46.6 MMcfd and oil output by 17% yoy to 3,621 bopd. Its realized gas prices also increased: 5% yoy for gas (USD/Mcf) to USD 7.39 and 76% yoy for oil (USD/barrel) to USD 61.60. JKX reported that during 1Q, its development and workover activities in Ukraine focused on preparing the first of the horizontal wells to be drilled on the deep Rudenkovskoye tight gas field.
