Yesterday JKX Oil & Gas (JKX LN) announced the first test results from Well 27 in the Koshekhablskoye field in Russia. JKX said the well flowed at 13.1 MMcfd of gas and an estimated 12 bpd of condensate through a 36/64″ choke with a flowing wellhead pressure of 1,741 psi – a flow rate that significantly exceeded the company’s expectations. JKX said the first gas is anticipated from this project in 4Q10.
