Kazakhstan Orders New Stakhanovsky Wagon Railroad Cars

Stakhanovsky Wagon Works (SVGZ), part of the Finance & Credit Group, has built the first batch of new railroad cars designed specifically to haul cement. According to a company statement, SVGZ will deliver the first batch of 25 of these cars to Kazakhstan by the end of 2006. Olha Pankiv: Additional demand for the new railcar will come from domestic Ukrainian cement makers, which increased production by 9.4% yoy in January-September.
