Kviza Trade scuttles plans to sell minority stake

Kviza Trade, operator of the Velyka Kyshenya supermarket chain, has given up plans to sell a minority stake in order to boost working capital and cut debt, Kommersant reported yesterday. The company was reportedly planning to sell a 10-25% stake for USD 20-30 mln. Kommersant sources said that the company was now in negotiations to restructure UAH 742.6 mln in long-term debt.
