LuAZ Increases Net Income By 190% yoy In 1H05 To USD 16.8 mln.

Net sales made up USD 101.5 mln in 1H05, which equals 60.6% of the sales for all of 2004. In relevant news the Bogdan corporation (a holding company, which includes LuAZ (LUAZ) announced plans to start producing Hyundai automobiles at its LuAZ plant in November. All parts for the vehicles will be delivered by Hyundai Motors. Concorde Capital: Earlier Bogdan announced plans to switch from car to bus production at LuAZ starting in 2008. The plant will have an annual capacity of 6 ths buses.
