LuAZ Plans Heavy Truck Line.

The Lutsk automotive plant (LUAZ) announced it would spend $35m to build a truck production line at the Cherkasy bus plant (which, like LuAZ, is owned by Petro Poroshenko’s Bogdan group). The plant will be built by Dong Feng of China and will be able to produce 12,000 trucks/year with capacities in the range of 2-10 mt. Olha Pankiv: Although the announcement was made by LuAZ, it is not yet clear whether LuAZ or Bogdan will own this new production line.
