Luhanskteplovoz (LTPL UK) produced 108 diesel locomotive sections in 9M12, up 31.7% yoy compared to 74 diesel and eight electric sections in the same period of last year, the company said in a press release yesterday. Diesel locomotive section output grew 40% yoy to 14 units in September and the company plans delivery of another 20 sections to Russian Railways in October (+25% mom). Total output in value terms grew 4.1% yoy to UAH 1.2 bln in 9M12.
Roman Dmytrenko: Average monthly production of over 14 diesel sections in 4Q guarantees Luhanskteplovoz will meet its overall output target of 156 units in 2012. At the same time, only 4.1% yoy growth in output in value terms looks disappointing considering the management’s initial guidance of a 50% yoy output increase to UAH 2.4 bln in 2012.
