Luhanskteplovoz delivers locomotives to Russia, Ukraine state railways

Luhanskteplovoz (LTPL) has delivered 12 of its new freight diesel locomotives, 2TE116U, to Russian Railways and 2 model 2EL4 diesel locomotives to Ukrzaliznytsya, Ukraine’s state-owned monopoly railway operator, the company announced yesterday (via UNIAN). Luhanskteplovoz said the cost of the locomotives was UAH 121.9 mln. The company said that its volume of production, as of 1Q09 was 6.8% higher yoy.
