Anton Shyshkin, one of the main shareholders of MCB Agricole (4GW1 GF) with a 28% stake in the company, said he is selling his stake, Delo informed yesterday.
Alexander Paraschiy: We believe that not only Shyshkin, but also his partners, which jointly control 70% of the company, are selling their stakes. We treat this news as negative for minority shareholders given the poor history of minority treatment in comparable deals in Ukrainian agriculture. Kernel’s purchase of Ukrros and Ukrlandfarming’s purchase of Dakor are indicative – minorities, to our best knowledge, were offered nothing from the new owners in both of those deals.
