MMKI & KSTL Increase PBT, Sales in 1Q07

MMK Illicha (MMKI: BUY) raised its profit before taxes (PBT) to USD 96.6 mln in 1Q07 (from a loss of USD 0.4 mln last year) as its sales grew to USD 795 mln (+44.6% yoy). Also in 1Q07, Mittal Steel Kryviy Rih (KSTL: HOLD) posted PBT of USD 215 mln (+72.5% yoy) and sales of USD 836.9 (+49.8% yoy).
