The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU)
identified on Aug. 14 two more DTEK executives as suspects in its criminal case
alleging a conspiracy between DTEK Energy and state officials to fix Ukrainian
electricity prices under the Rotterdam Plus scheme. They are a top manager of
power GenCo Skhidenergo, Borys Lisoviy, and the CEO of DTEK Grid, Ivan Heliukh,
Interfax-Ukraine reported.
Recall on Aug. 8, NABU announced as suspects two DTEK employees
and four state power regulator officials in the alleged Rotterdam Plus criminal
scheme.
Also on Aug. 14, DTEK’s press service reported that a
local court ruled that day to release one of the suspected DTEK employees on
UAH 10 mln bond, commenting that this ruling shows “the court does not
consider the suspicions to be justified.”
Alexander Paraschiy: The news
flow surrounding the Rotterdam Plus investigation isn’t positive for DTEKUA
bonds, but so far poses no major risk to DTEK Energy’s fundamentals.
