National Bank of Ukraine Approves Acquisitions of Ukrsotsbank and Forum

The National Bank of Ukraine has allowed Italian UniCredit Group to acquire a 95% stake in Ukrsotsbank (USCB: HOLD) and gave German Commerzbank permission to buy a 60%+1 stake in Forum Bank (FORM: BUY). Alexander Kireev, director of the NBU’s banking supervison division said that both permissions were preliminary.
