NBU reviews balance of payments numbers for 2008

The National Bank of Ukraine reported that the current account deficit in 2008 was USD 12.9 bln or 7.1% of GDP (vs. USD 11.9 bln in the previously published preliminary report). The capital account surplus was USD 13.8 bln (including USD 4.5 bln from the IMF loan).
