NBU's foreign currency reserves shrink 8.2% in February

The National Bank of Ukraine reported yesterday that its foreign currency and gold reserves amounted to USD 26.46 bln as of end-February, down 8.2% month-on-month. The NBU spent USD 1.73 bln over the course of the month to support the hryvnya. Since the beginning of the year, the NBU’s reserves have decreased 16.1%.
