NERC could raise Oblenergos’ investment programs to USD ~740 mln

The National Electricity Regulatory Commission plans to raise the amount Ukrainian electricity distribution companies’ investment programs to USD ~740 mln. In 2008, the commission provided for the Oblenergos to invest USD 556.7 mln to modernize their electricity distribution networks. Alexander Paraschiy: If approved, the increase in Oblenergo’s investment programs will result in their aggregate net profit growth by 1.4x yoy in 2009, in our view.
