NERC raises gas tariffs for industrial producers

The National Electricity Regulatory Commission increased the price of gas for industrial producers by 11.9% as of October 1 to USD 425 per ths m3 ex VAT, transportation costs and Naftogaz surcharge. Antonina Davydenko: This brings the YTD increase in the rate for industrial producers to 48%; the last hike was in July. The price increase was expected since the NERC bases its tariffs on the price of imported gas, which is projected to increase by approximately 13% in 4Q11 compared to 3Q11.
