Northern Iron Ore boosts production capacity by 870 ths mt

Northern Iron Ore (UX: SGOK UK) put into operation concentrating mill sections 15 and 16, which have a combined annual capacity of 870 ths mt of iron ore concentrate, website UGMK.info reported yesterday, citing company management. This increases the company’s concentrate (66% Fe) capacity by 6.3% to 14.6 mln mt p.a. Project CapEx amounted to UAH 258 mln, UAH 77 mln of which was equipment and UAH 181 mln on open pit development.
