NPR Increases Pipe Production 18.7% YoY In 7M05.

In the first seven months, Nyzhnyodniprovsky Pipe (NITR: BUY) increased its pipe output 18.7% yoy, to 316.1 ths mt and reduced its rail wheels & rims output by 12.6%, to 147.6 ths mt. Concorde Capital: NPR is continuing to focus on pipe production this year due to a strong market for pipes. The company?s in-house steel production was 429.87 ths mt in 7M05, up 2.3% yoy. This steel is used as a feedstock for its pipes and wheels manufacturing, which allows the company to save on raw material expenses. NITR can allocate its in-house steel output between pipe and wheel making, depending on the market.
