NWR appoints Zhevago non-executive director

New World Resources announced on Tuesday that shareholder AGM approved the appointment of Konstantin Zhevago as a non-executive director of NWR as of April 28. Zhevago is the controlling shareholder and CEO of Ferrexpo (FXPO LN). The move completes a board seat swap arrangement at the companies. In late March, Ferrexpo shareholders appointed NWR Executive Chairman Mike Salamon and NWR Executive Director and CFO Marek Jelinek to the company’s board of directors as non-independent non-executive directors.
