Oblgaz Tariffs to Be Reviewed?

Tariffs for gas supply companies may be reviewed this month said Valeriy Kalchenko, head of the National Electricity Regulatory Commission. The Gas Supply Companies’ Association filed a request with the Prime Minister to allow a 30-35% price hike. According to them, Oblgaz losses due to low tariffs totaled approximately USD 80 mln in 2007.
