At least two pro-EU activists died and more than 50 were injured in Donetsk on March 13 during attacks from pro-Russian activists, which occurred as they held demonstrations side-by-side that were cordoned by police. Tear gas and detonating cartridges were used during the clashes. Among those killed, Dmytro Cherniavskiy, was a member of the Freedom nationalist party. The police arrested four men suspected to be the initiators of the attacks in Donetsk, Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov reported today via his Facebook page.
