Railway product prices dropped 8% m/m in January for Ukraine exports

Ukraine’s export prices for railway products sold
mostly by the largest producer Interpipe (INTHOL) were USD 1,312/t in January,
down 8% m/m and 36% less yoy, according to Concorde Capital’s analysis of State
Statistics data released on March 22.

 

The January prices are 6% below their 4Q20 average,
Concorde Capital’s calculations show.

 

Dmytro Khoroshun: Interpipe’s railway product volumes and prices might experience a qoq
downturn in 1Q21 because of Russia’s ban on imports from Ukraine (in place since Feb. 9).
