Russian shareholder arrives at Kryukiv Wagon

Kryukiv Wagon (KVBZ UK) shareholders voted to elect Victor Voronovich as a member of supervisory board. He replaces Sergiy Tigipko whose TEKO-Dneprometiz sold its stake in Kryukiv Wagon to the company earlier this summer.

Roman Dmytrenko: Victor Voronovich is CEO of Russian Engels Wagon Building Plant whose shareholder Stanislav Gamzalov has earlier announced his plans to acquire about 25% stake in Kruykiv by (see our news on 12 July). The arrival of a new Russian shareholder is positive for the company as he will likely help Kryukiv to omit import curbs that Russia is seeking to impose on Ukraine-made wagons.
