SCM adds Donetsk Energy Plant to machine building holding

In a move to further restructure its machine building assets into a holding, SCM announced yesterday that it transferred its 66.5% stake in Donetsk Energy Plant to Ukrainian Machine Building Holding (UMBH), a Cyprus-registered company related to SCM. In March, SCM passed a 65.3% stake in Druzhkivka Machinery (DRMZ: BUY) to UMBH. Inna Perepelytsya: We expect SCM to continue bolstering its machine building holding around anchor Druzhkivka, which is SCM’s largest machinery asset by sales. We see the next most likely candidates for inclusion into UMBH as Dongirmash (DGRM: N/R) and Svitlo Shakhtarya (HMBZ: N/R).
